Je dois l'avouer, c'est un chouïa frustrant quand tu te chauffes pour proposer une activité que tu trouves chouette, et que le client ne l'entend pas de la même oreille 😬... Maiiiiiis bon, on annonce du sur-mesure, alors il faut s'effacer et offrir du sur-mesure ^^🤗
Après tout, l'important pour moi (hormis que vous tombiez amoureux..se des îles), c'est que votre voyage vous ressemble à 100% 😉

𝘖𝘳𝘪𝘨𝘪𝘯𝘦 𝘥𝘦 𝘭𝘢 𝘗𝘪𝘯𝘢 𝘊𝘰𝘭𝘢𝘥𝘢

On raconte qu'un pirate portoricain aurait donné à ses matelots une boisson mélangeant de la noix de coco, de l'ananas et du rhum, pour leur remonter le moral. Cette histoire remonterait au début du 19ème siècle et marquera les débuts du cocktail. Néanmoins, cette version a été contestée de nombreuses fois.
L'histoire de sa création semble se cristalliser dans celle de Ramón "Monchito" Marrero, un barman de l'hôtel Le Caribe Hilton, situé à Porto Rico. Selon les dires de l'établissement, Marrero aurait inventé en 1954 la recette de la Piña Colada pour capturer l'essence même de Porto Rico, en y associant les ingrédients qui font la fierté de l'île.

It is said that a Puerto Rican pirate would have given his sailors a drink mixing coconut, pineapple and rum, to cheer them up. This story dates back to the beginning of the 19th century and marks the beginning of the cocktail. Nevertheless, this version has been disputed many times.
The story of its creation seems to be crystallized in that of Ramón "Monchito" Marrero, a bartender of the Hotel Le Caribe Hilton, located in Puerto Rico. According to the establishment, Marrero invented the recipe for the Piña Colada in 1954 to capture the essence of Puerto Rico, combining the ingredients that make the island proud.

I plead guilty ☝🏾 Sometimes, when I go on vacation, I go full freestyle mode!!! But that's when I want a mind-free vacation, and to really unplug my brain (in those cases, I won't mind "wasting" a day in bed).
On the other hand, when I really want to enjoy my trip, and make the most of every hour, including the resting hours, it's a different story. I schedule everything, and can even check the bus schedules 😅 It's a pain, but it saves time and money on the spot.

Moi, je plaide coupable ☝🏾 Des fois, je pars en voyage en freestyle complet !! Mais c'est quand je veux des vacances sans prise de tête, pour vraiment déconnecter mon cerveau (dans ces cas là, "gâcher" une journée dans mon lit ne me dérangera pas).
Par contre, quand je veux vraiment profiter de mon voyage, et rentabiliser chaque heure, y compris les heures de repos, là c'est une autre histoire. Je programme tout, et je vais même jusqu'à vérifier les horaires de passage des bus 😅 C'est chiant, mais ça fait gagner du temps et de l'argent sur place.

🇫🇷 Il y a 6 mois exactement, je démarrais Plume Evasion dans mon pays de résidence, la Belgique. Il s'en est passé des choses depuis : de bonnes nouvelles, des challenges, des instants de découragements, une Bourse Paille, des idées, mais surtout, déjà quelques voyageurs qui m'ont fait confiance.
Depuis le lancement, j'ai organisé des voyages dans les îles suivantes :

La yole est une embarcation traditionnelle martiniquaise. D’abord navire de pêche, elle est devenue un sport à part entière ! De nombreuses courses, officielles ou non, se sont déroulées à leur bord par des pêcheurs ou des associations.
Dans les années 60, des équipages de yoles ont effectué des tours de la Martinique, en plusieurs étapes. Mais la difficulté de l’épreuve les ont convaincus d’abandonner de nouvelles tentatives.
Avec le temps, la yole est même devenue une icône de l’île, au point de faire partie depuis décembre 2020 du patrimoine culturel immatériel de l’Unesco.

L'édition de cette année commence ce Dimanche 31 Juillet.

The yole is a traditional Martinican boat. First a fishing boat, it has become a sport in its own right! Numerous competitions, official or not, have been held on board by fishermen or associations.
In the 60's, crews of yoles have completed tours of Martinique, in several steps. But the difficulty of the event convinced them to abandon new attempts.
Over time, the yole has even become an icon of the island, to the point of being part of the UNESCO intangible cultural heritage since December 2020.

This year's edition begins this Sunday, July 31.

A l'ère d'Internet, on pourrait se dire que ce métier est devenu obsolète. Et pourtant, les statistiques montrent que depuis le début de la crise sanitaire, 33% des voyageurs font appel aux services de conseillers en voyage.

Je dirais plutôt le contraire...sauf si vous êtes des pros de l'organisation, que vous avez un métabolisme infaillible et pouvez jongler entre boulot, famille, vie sociale, garder du temps pour prendre soin de vous ET organiser votre voyage

Cela dépend de ce qui est important pour vous. Ce sera vrai si vous préférez payer moins cher que de dégager du temps pour vous, être tranquille d'esprit avant et pendant votre voyage.

Vous l'aurez remarqué, on ne parle presque pas de plages ici 😅 mais on s'intéresse aux autres atouts de la Caraïbe.
En toute honnêteté (pas difficile à deviner non plus), je ne connais pas toutes îles du bassin caribéen, ni leur histoire et leurs particularités culturelles sur le bout des doigts.
